If you have ever looked up at the night sky and wanted to know more about the stars, galaxies and other celestial happenings in the universe, then you are not alone. Wanting to make sense of what is beyond our immediate world is innate in most young children, making the night sky a fascinating topic for children and adults alike. For those of you with budding young astronomers, what better way to learn about the night sky, than by exploring the topic together through play.
Introducing THE NIGHT SKY Play and Learning Guide...

Some suggested introductory activities;
Full instructions for 8 simple play and learning activities;
Plus a whole page of optional extras and internet links to videos and other wild and wonderful night sky related things!
The activities in this pack have been designed with young children in mind (3-7 years ish) but most of them can be adapted to include younger/older children. As with many of my 'invitations', some of these activities involve small parts, so please supervise young children closely.
